The backing synth-work in all of the songs is on-point and clean. “Not Pleasant” is a pleasurable listen, indeed. Overall, the sound is reminiscent of yesteryear--in a good way--and I look forward to what tomorrow brings. BASIC is my favorite of The Wandering Now's albums. Favorite track: Not Personal.
